How to Measure Drop

Measure the window width from outside the frame edges. TMS inc/Menagerie recommends at least 2” to 4” per side for the placement of the brackets.  For optimal and most secure results attach brackets to a wall stud.  Please refer to the illustration below.

The height of the bracket placement is determined by the length of the finished draper, and the style of the drapery.  If the window treatment is designed to be used with rings, be sure you include proper allowance for the drop of the ring. Please refer to the illustration below.

3-4 rings per foot of finished pole length or 6-7 rings per width of fabric are suggested as rule of thumb

TMS inc/Menagerie recommends using a professional installer.  The mounting hardware included may not be properly suited for the type of wall you are attaching to.  TMS inc/Menagerie can not assume responsibility for improperly mounted hardware.
